Botcheck

Seven levels of bot detection, from reading a page to Cloudflare Turnstile. Epoch uses it to see how far the local AI models in our GB10 lab get when they drive a browser, and what gives them away.

1. Read the page: Find the access code in a long product page.
2. Wait for the script: The code only appears after JavaScript runs.
3. Fill the order form: A form with a CSRF token and a honeypot field.
4. Find it in the catalog: Page through a catalog; skip the trap link.
5. Sign in: Log in, keep the session, and stay under the rate limit.
6. Act human: Browser and behaviour checks: webdriver, pointer, timing.
7. Turnstile: The boss: a real Cloudflare Turnstile challenge.
